After you learn/understand this book in its simplicity the pure genius will astound you. In one of the early chapters he basically tells you to just trust him that what he says is true. Unfortunately, I did not trust Wallace Wattles and I set this book aside for many years Part of it was because I read it for the first time in my mid 20's and figured how could this little book written so long ago have it all figured out. I sure was wrong and Wallace Wattles did have it all figured out and this book is worth reading/listening/masterminding to for a lifetime. My self help journey started for me in 1996 when I attended a live full day seminar with several speakers, one of which was Brian Tracy. He boldly said if you buy these two sets of audio tapes you will triple your income in six months but you must listen repeatedly and take actions on what you learned. I said triple my income? That sounds pretty good so I bought the Psychology of Achievement and the Psychology of Selling for $120 and started listening. Sure enough, I went from making $3,500 a month to $10,000 a month in just 6 months, which wasn't quite 3 times but pretty close. Maybe you will start your journey in 2010 with Brian Tracy as well?
