My Self Help Journey

The self help journey started for me in 1996 when I attended a live full day seminar with several speakers, one of which was Brian Tracy. He boldly said if you buy these two sets of audio tapes you will triple your income in six months but you must listen repeatedly and take actions on what you learned.

I said triple my income? That sounds pretty good so I bought the Psychology of Achievement and the Psychology of Selling for $120 and started listening. Sure enough, I went from making $3,500 a month to $10,000 a month in just 6 months, which wasn't quite 3 times but pretty close.

I have been studying the likes of Brian Tracy, Napoleon Hill, Stephen Covey, Jack Canfield, John Maxwell, and many more for years. Bob Proctor, one of the main teachers in The Secret, has really struck a chord with me and his teachings have been opening up new doors for me on a continuous basis.
